Seychelles Alzheimer’s Foundation: Member of Alzheimer’s Disease International
The Seychelles Alzheimer’s Foundation is proud to be recognised as the exclusive member organisation for Seychelles of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI).
Alzheimer’s Disease International is the global federation of Alzheimer and dementia associations around the world, bringing together organisations that are working to improve the lives of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

This membership is an important milestone for the Seychelles Alzheimer’s Foundation and for dementia advocacy in Seychelles. It strengthens our connection to the global dementia community and supports our ongoing commitment to raising awareness, improving understanding, and promoting better care and support for people living with dementia, their families, and carers.

Being part of ADI gives SAF access to international knowledge, guidance, advocacy networks, and good practice from dementia organisations across the world. It also places Seychelles within a wider global conversation on dementia, helping to ensure that the needs and experiences of people in small island states are recognised and represented.

For SAF, this membership further strengthens our voice as we continue to advocate for dementia to be recognised as a public health priority in Seychelles. It also supports our work through programmes such as the Visiting Angels Programme, caregiver training, community awareness activities, art clubs, music therapy, and future service development for people living with dementia and their families.

We are deeply grateful for this recognition and remain committed to working with national, regional, and international partners to build a more dementia-inclusive Seychelles.
